Refund Policy

Effective May 24, 2026. Payments are processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record.

Free plan

The Free plan has no cost and requires no payment information. Nothing to refund.

Paid plans (Starter and Pro)

Gitsentry.dev subscriptions are billed monthly through Paddle. We offer refunds in the following circumstances:

  • Within 7 days of first charge — if you subscribed and haven't meaningfully used the service, you can request a full refund of that charge.
  • Service outage — if Gitsentry.dev was materially unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours during a billing period, you may request a pro-rated credit for that period.
  • Duplicate charge — if you were billed more than once for the same period due to a billing error, the duplicate charge will be refunded in full.

What is not refundable

  • Partial months after cancellation (subscriptions run to end of billing period).
  • Charges from previous billing periods not disputed within 30 days.
  • Fees for periods during which the service was actively used.

How to cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. No cancellation fees apply.

How to request a refund

Email us at hello@gitsentry.dev with your account email and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your payment method.

Disputes

Because Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions, payment disputes are handled by Paddle directly. If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, we may suspend your account pending resolution. We strongly prefer resolving issues directly over email before any dispute is filed.
